Once the skies cleared, the colors came alive. Lily’s red bridesmaid dresses against the bright green and blue landscape were so stunning. After a sweet ceremony at a local church, guests headed back to Chattooga Club for a vibrant cocktail hour on the lawn… complete with llamas to pet and take photos while they sipped cocktails... the guests, not the llamas.

Once Lily & Burke kicked off dinner with their first dance, we slipped up the mountain for sunset portraits, and the sky delivered. Layered ridges, soft blues, perfect light — the kind of scene that makes you forget the chaos the morning gave us. And the reception was nothing short of fun. The dance floor stayed packed, maracas appeared to celebrate their Mexico honeymoon, and the whole night felt bold, colorful, and completely them.

Lily grew up going to camp in Cashiers, North Carolina, so the day already felt rooted and meaningful, even as an intense morning thunderstorm pushed us through Plans A, B, and C.
